One year later.
“Lilly! Don’t go near the water!”
Roxanne watched as her young daughter continued to run away from the waves that crashed down on the beach. Giggling and ignoring her mother’s warning as she fell down and the water came rushing around her. instead of crying from having fallen she merely splashed her hands down and laughed, digging her hands into the wet sand and getting a handful of it before tossing it out towards the sea. It was the warm season so luckily the water was not freezing cold or else she might have been more upset. Roxanne was about to get to her feet, though she was having a difficult time with her growing stomach in the way when she caught sight of Nikolai running towards Lilly.
“What do you think you’re doing you little rascal!” He said in a playful tone
