Nicole gasped, her hand going to her mouth. “What in the world are you doing?”
That caused everyone but Chelsea to laugh.
“He is on his knees, sis, what do you think he is doing?” Xavier chuckled as he saw the look on his face. Earlier that afternoon Marko had called Xavier aside and asked him if it was alright to propose to his sister. After a quick call to their parents, Xavier had given him the answer. Their parents thought he was moving too fast. They felt that they needed to grow as a couple and a rush to marriage isn’t the answer. Walter was adamant that just because Nicole was pregnant, Marko should not feel compelled to marry her because of the baby. He should want to marry her regardless.
Marko understood where Nicole’s parents were coming from, and he told them just that when
