Marko glanced at the phone as a ping sounded once again indicating that someone had tried to call them once again. That would be ping number five since he left Nicole’s home. He also received a voicemail. Parking his car, he took his time to listen to the voicemail from Chelsea. Just like he had thought, she didn’t have much to say, rather bring up the past that never was. Deleting the message, he collected his files before getting out and handing everything over to the bodyguard who had come with him.
