Lesley took Nicole by the arm and walked her to the group, Marko and Liam a few steps back. Everyone seemed inviting and interested in knowing who she was. There was good-humored teasing going around and the arm that Marko had around her waist wasn’t helping. Nicole started to relax as the couples were very easy to get along with.
She quickly learned that all the men were in businesses, one who had started their own while the other two were in family-owned businesses. The ladies came from different backgrounds as well from a modeling agent to a kindergarten teacher. And like Lesley and Liam, these couples were all married, and a joke going around was that Marko would be next.
