Alana To be completely honest, I was a little scared to go home. Tom and Heather did spend some time together, but he was alone when I got back up to my office. The inquisitions started there. He told me that he would have no other choice but to tell Nate that I ventured off, and he had no idea where I had gone. Of course, I tried talking my way out of it, but Tom wasn't interested in hearing any of it. Tom said that Nate paid him to report what I've been doing, not to get involved past that. It did seem that Tom was more compassionate than Nate was, but I understood why he didn't want to get involved. I'm sure that he would be in more than enough trouble for not following me or knowing where I was at the time that I disappeared. As Tom and I got ready to leave, Heather walked over to
