Jack started driving and I watched as the city passed by outside the truck window. I was confused when Jack turned off the highway and into a mall parking lot. I looked at the place in confusion and then over to him for an answer. What the hell was he up to and what were we doing here? He had a big smile on his face as he found a parking spot and turned the truck off. He got out of the truck leaving me confused still. I got out and met him at the back of the truck to take his hand and walk inside with him.
“What are we doing at the mall?” I asked as we made our way to the entrance.
“You’ll see in a few minutes,” he answered me while looking up ahead.
