Stella’s POV
When Jack got home from the council meeting he found me in my office working on pack information. My eyes were glued to him with a big smile plastered on my face. I got up from my chair and rushed into his arms after he closed my office door. We hugged each other tightly before we shared a sweet and eager kiss. I didn’t realize how much I really did need to be close to him. I had missed him because I was here when he wasn’t.
Once we let go of one another he took my hand and led me to the couch. We sat down together and got comfortable, still holding hands so the electric contact was running over our skin.
