I didn’t ask for the council’s help to be held prisoner in my own damn home!! Willow was in the hospital wing, and I couldn’t get to her or be part of the plan to capture her sisters. Standing on the terrace, I looked out at the forest where I knew their warriors were “patrolling” to make sure we weren’t attacked.
In the distance, I saw a vehicle approaching, and when it reached the border, I recognized it. It was Frank’s!! What was he doing there?!
“Thank you, Frank. You have just given me the perfect reason to leave my house.” Jumping off the roof, I floated down to the ground. Council members ran to my side and stood ready to attack the Alpha wolf who dared come to our border.
“What are you doing here, Frank? Haven’t you caused enough pain?!” My voice dripped with disdain.
