Olivia and I found Wendy in her room going through her gowns.
“Wendy!” Olivia exclaimed, and the girl nearly jumped out of her skin with fright.
“Olivia!” Then she saw me behind Olivia. “Willow… I could have guessed.” Turning around to carry on paging through her dresses.
“Wendy, please tell me what you are doing?” She looked at Olivia as if she had just lost her mind and gone stupid for not knowing what Wendy was doing.
“Picking out a dress for lunch, of course, what else would I be doing?” She shrugged. Olivia’s face slowly turned red from her neck up, a rainbow of colours forming on the inside palm of her right hand.
