I laughed but my chest hurt and I grabbed it, cringing in pain.
“Stop that, you i***t!” Glinda looked furious. “You almost died! Don’t do that to me again.”
“Oh, now you care?” I grinned and she blushed bright red. Okay, what happened? What did I miss? “Are you okay? Did they hurt you?” I started checking her for injuries, but she seemed to be fine. I made her twirl around slowly so I could make sure she wasn’t bleeding anywhere.
