Everyone went to bed late last night and I didn’t put Nathan down all night. He slept in my arms until Isobel finally gave me the same look Melissa used to when I wouldn’t let go of our latest daughter.
I will have to speak to Circe about the Alpha situation at some point, but for now, I just want to enjoy the fact that not only is Melissa back, but by some miracle, Isobel and the baby are in the house. The little guy had all of us up every two hours crying for his bottle, but nobody complained funny enough.
We will see when the first week has passed if they all still feel okay with it. I will have to think about living arrangements for Isobel and baby Nathan. She can’t be running up and downstairs the entire time.
