Chapter 63
Bree’s POV
I am upset. I miss Travis, my parents, my siblings, and my friends. I am crying as I already know that, even though Nico is not himself, he made detailed plans for taking me, and I will be here much longer than a few days. Just hearing my mother’s voice on the phone has gotten me so upset, all I can think about is how bad this whole mess is. I am stuck with an infatuated and attached former mate, who will not let me go.
I sit there and wish I had been given Travis as my first mate, and if I had, I would not be going through this. I hear Nico come back into the room and as he looks at me, I see the emotions cross his face; sadness, love, frustration, and then anger. I do not know why he is suddenly angry, but I know he is, and I am worried. I see his hand changing
