Chapter 78
Bree’s POV
I go to open my eyes and close them back due to the blinding light. My head hurts, but my neck hurts even more. I tried to open them again and I could keep them open a little longer, but it is still too bright in here. I noticed that I was in the hospital though, and I tried to remember what happened to result in me being there.
It hits me all at once and I need to get out of here. Out of this pack, as I will not stay here another day. I can see sunlight outside the window, and I wonder how long I have been in the hospital. I used both hands to touch my stomach and my baby moved to let me know that she was OK. I am alone, and I needed information. I hit the call button for the nurse, and I didn’t have to wait very long for someone to show up.
