The two months I asked for have passed quickly. Among the many things, one that stayed in my mind is the first check-up I went to with him, as well as the encounter we had afterward.
Flashback
We arrived at the hospital in a high-end SUV. He sat next to me in silence, looking at the streets. I don't know why, but being by his side makes me feel calmer, and it's something I like. Erick, the driver, quickly gets out of his seat and opens the door for me.
"Thank you," I say, and he nods with a smile. Vincent comes up to where I am. I see that he's a bit nervous. I think it's because he's going to see his children for the first time. We walk side by side, greet Nicol, and enter the office.
"Good morning," the doctor greets.
"Good morning," we reply at the same time.
"Please come
