ZEUS I hold Austyn close, until I hear Dallas walking away, and I no longer hear her. "She's gone. F*ck that was so close. We can't do this ever again. I...I have to go." I tell her and quickly leave the cleaning closet. I almost trip on my way out. I go up to my old room to calm down. I really need to be careful with what I am doing. How I carry myself has always been important, and today I almost threw everything out the window. "But, she is our mate. Nothing matters, but her," My wolf growls. He is pissed that we left her in that closet. "You need to understand. There's a lot at stake here," I say, but he growls again. He needs to understand where I am coming from. Typical wolf though. They just want their mates. They don't care about anything else or how it affects you in real life.
