Day 1
It's officially the end of Day 1 of Austyn being in the hospital, and she has not woken up yet. I know it will take a while. They haven't even removed the tube, but a part of me was hoping that she would just open her eyes. Realistically, I know that she is loaded up on meds, and it doesn't work that easily, but a husband can hope. Even placing our pup on her did not make her wake up like I hoped. I am pretty bummed out, but I know she needs to rest and get her strength back. We still don't feel like her wolf is ready. I just can't wait until she wakes up and meets our baby boy for the first time. She will see how perfect he is.
