"I really meant what I said yesterday. You can trust me. I want to be someone you can come to for anything, Austyn," Zeus tells me. "Thank you. You are seriously the best person ever," I hug him and I don't let go, and he doesn't try to pull away for what feels like a long time, but eventually I have to move back. I look at him, making sure that was okay with him. His eyes are closed, and he looks like he is in pain.
"Are you alright, Zeus?" I ask. He nods. What Emilee told me floats to the back of my mind. That's when an idea pops into my mind. I need to get to know him too. Here, where it is just us, it doesn't have to be all about me like it always is. Maybe he will open up and tell me about himself.
