I escaped Quill without a public scene, but I was certain the speculations ran rampant in the gossip mill. The number of people who'd seen me leave as an emotional basket case was countless. I wouldn't be surprised to find news of whatever trauma they believed I'd suffered on f*******: with pictures to support their theory, but I couldn't bring myself to care.
