I am just glad that Elliot stopped pestering me during the meeting for the artworks that will be auctioned. Maybe he already realized that I am not in the mood for his games and his misleading signals. I have liked him for years and got nothing but rejection and fake signs. I don’t want to be an i***t and repeat all that again. I am not that stupid girl anymore. “What’s wrong?” Archer asked me when he arrived at our table in the café with our orders. I looked up at him and smiled before shaking my head. “Nothing.” “Tss,” he smirked as he took his seat. “It’s about Elliot, isn’t it?” I pursed my lips and leaned on the backrest before sighing. “Why does it have to be him? I’m pretty sure that there are a lot of businessmen who are interested in art and not just him. So why him?”
