“Aurora, stay close to me. Not too fast” I whispered my words to her, and reached out to hold her wrist, “Stay close to me”
“Logan, I can take care of myself. I know the way around this place” there she was back into the stubborn woman I knew. She tried to push me away, but I was adamant not to lose her in the dark maze.
The night’s darkness at the twisted looking labyrinth was swallowed by the dim light emitted from the moon. I had stumbled several times trying to catch up with Aurora. She was fast and definitely knew the way better than me. “Aurora, it is not safe out there. Get back here”
