“I can’t do this right now,” I said, trying to walk away.
“The gold-digging b***h trying to ride Jace’s name into Hollywood can’t do this right now. Let’s all bow and walk away,” the blonde said, loud enough to echo.
They laughed.
Their voices were sugary, smug, and poison-laced.
I turned around slowly.
The brunette, apparently their leader, leaned against the wall with two girls flanking her.
I should have ignored them but I’d done too much of that lately. Besides I was rejected not just from the audition, but from learning here.
