FIVE YEARS LATER
I watch as Drew chased the girls around. Their little screams were heaven when he was around.
Placing the last dish on the draining board, I grabbed the tea towel and wiped my hands as I walked to the door. I opened it and went out, but only to watch them.
Dinner was on, and it wasn’t long till it was done. I placed my hands on the fence and watched as Bonnie and Freya ran in different directions as Drew pretended to catch them.
Drew and I had twin girls, one panther, and one wolf. They are so different, but both are daddy’s girls. I placed my hand on the growing bump of our third, which we learned yesterday was a boy. The girls are excited as they get to have a little boy around the place, while I think for Drew, it is not to be outnumbered by women anymore.
