EBONY My eyes were glued to the gun, but after a few seconds, the man moved it from my face and placed it on the counter. His eyes stayed focused on me as I looked around. “There is nowhere to go,” he said with a sigh. He moved up, leaned over the counter, and grabbed a beer bottle. I watched as he opened it and took a swig. He placed it down and stared at me. Clearing my throat, I sighed. “So,” I said. “What do you want to talk about?” Cleo was close, but raining her in was getting harder. She wanted these men gone, or she would kill them. Groaning from the corner made me look at Harry as one man kicked him in the stomach. I clenched my fists at my sides and looked back at the man, whose smile widens. “Do they have to hurt him?” I asked, letting a low growl slip past my lips. “What?
