Episode 3

I took her home. I couldn't hide how excited I was. She kept smiling shyly. She kissed me before she got out of my car. I quickly drove back home to take a shower; then I went to get Eclipse ready. As I ran downstairs, my father stopped me.

"Son, where are you going?"

"We're going to ride out with Serena. The horses need a move."

"Alright, son, but I must talk to you after you return, so don't stay out too long."

He sounded and looked weird, but now I haven't got time for that. I loved my father, but now I was excited about another thing.

"Okay, Dad, I'll be back by dinner. I promise."

He nodded, and I ran to the stable.

I was excited. I ran to take a shower. I dressed, and I ran to the stable to get Ivy ready. I laughed at her, as somehow she wasn't that calm today. Again, she mirrored my emotions. My heart skipped when I saw him waiting for me with Eclipse. I smiled at him and jumped on Ivy. He smiled at me, too, and we urged our friends to dash.

He smiled and gave me a light kiss before he helped me up on Ivy's back. We went back home.

"Don't you want to come in?" I asked him, hoping I could enjoy him being close for longer.

"I'd love to, but I have to go home. My dad said he wanted to talk to me."

"About what?"

"I don't know. He looked weird, but I'll find out soon."

"I hope there is nothing wrong."

I smiled and held him in my embrace.

"Don't worry."

I nodded. We kissed each other one more time, and then he left.
