"I don't want to sleep, Kaiden."
"Just sleep if you feel like that."
She laid her head on my chest, I caressed her till I could feel she had fallen asleep. I smiled and moved her gently to lay her down properly. I left for the living room. I called Mrs. Cole. She was happy, she'd got the job, and I asked her to come tomorrow morning.
I tried to keep that in mind. I have to tell Serena, so she can get herself ready for Mrs. Cole's arrival. Then I called Ben. He said he was going out for a date, but he could pop in to see Serena for half an hour. I only hoped that she'd be up by then. I went back to the bedroom when I finished with the phone calls. Serena woke up in about an hour. She was still in a daze, but she woke up completely after a half an hour.
"Did you have a nice sleep?"
