She didn't eat much.
"Sorry Kaiden, I cannot eat that much."
Then she stood up and wanted to take her plate away. I stopped her.
"Serena, don't worry about it, I will tidy up, just go and take your pills."
She had a weird expression, like she didn't expect me to understand the situation, but finally she just nodded and thanked me, then disappeared.
The only thing I wanted now was just to be close to her. It was so nice to keep her in my arms this afternoon. It was nice to feel that she calmed down because of my hug.
I tidied up and went to the living room. There was only one thing that still didn't let me be at ease. I thought it was weird that there was a fire on their farm and not long after, she was forced somehow to come here to be my wife and work for my father's company.
