"Serena, I have nicer rooms. You can pick one. They are lighter and bigger."
She looked at me surprised. She looked at the bed, she remained motionless. And slowly looked at me again.
"Kaiden, this room is really nice. It's okay for me."
"Then you should come out sometimes. You cannot just be here all day."
"I won't Kaiden. I accepted a job at your father's company. I'll start soon. Then I won't be in your way all the time."
And she moved her forehead back to the window.
I was surprised to hear that. I have to talk to my father about it. She is not well at all. How could she work like that? How could he be so heartless?
I left her room. I gave her about an hour and I went back. I wanted to get the tray.
She didn't touch the food. She laid in her bed covered up and slept soundly.
