I walked through the familiar corridor making my way to room 1025. I knocked on the door and after a few seconds, the door opened to reveal Astrid's mother.
"You are back!" she said excitedly before moving aside.
"Look who is here," She said as I walked in to see Astrid look up from her book.
"Elliot!" she said excitedly as I went and kissed her cheek.
"For you," I said as I handed her a bouquet of roses.
"Thank you," she said as she took it smiling wide.
"When did you return from your business meeting?" she asked as she scooted to the left for me to sit.
"I came straight from the airport. Couldn't wait to see you" I said as she laughed and nodded.
