Nothing going on made sense anymore. There was no way possible that this guy was related to Saige. The Silverback line ended with Saige. We had done enough research to at least know that much. So, whoever this guy wasn’t who he said he was. Until I found out why he was here, I had to put on my best poker face and not give anything away, but there wasn’t any part of me that believed a word that he said.
Instead of finishing this conversation in a room full of people, I had my uncle dismiss everyone. The guy who hadn’t bothered to introduce himself was waiting by the doors. He followed us into my uncle’s study, leaving just the three of us to talk.
