Things seemed to be going well for the past few days, but we knew our time was running short. Since Saige could transform into her wolf form, we used all the time we could down in the basement to train. Marco still had his men posted outside watching us, but not as many. It didn't matter because we had a way around them. The only reason they were still out there was that we wanted Marco to think he knew where Saige was. That way, when we escaped, he would only have his men to blame for guarding a house she wasn't in.
Saige didn't want to run, which is why we started training. We had plans to do this before she transformed into her wolf for the first time, but Adrian came in between those plans. Saige would have to fight the ultimate battle if she wanted to take on the crown. First
