The next morning Annalease was up earlier than normal excited to get the day started. She was hoping and praying the children would get to come home. After she got out of the shower and dressed she went to the kitchen. Lorraine met her handing her a bagel, some fruit and her coffee. They were the only two up. "Sit down and eat with me" Annalease told Lorraine. Lorraine grabbed her plate and sat down. "I believe you must have a gift Lorraine, you know exactly what to fix who and when" Annalease told her. Lorraine often wondered the same thing. "I always have been able to. I never thought of how I knew as a child but even then I could cook. The same with Maggie. She could as well. " Lorraine said softly thinking of her sister. Annalease smiled at her as the two sat eating their breakfast.
