I follow Conall across the grassy front yard, my eyes focused on the thick trees up ahead. I vaguely notice him turn to look at me, but I’m too distracted by the beauty of the outdoors to care about our strange entanglement right now.
As soon as we step inside the forest, my heart swells in my chest, feeling like it might burst at any moment. I close my eyes and revel in the feeling of having nature surround me once again.
