I fell asleep with Tristan hugging me and this morning when I opened my eyes I found those splendid blue eyes watching me. I have no idea how long I watched him back, but we stared at each other for what it feels like hours.
I never imagined that I would find myself living such blissful moments, because let me tell you. I would be a damned liar if I didn't admit that I love this feeling. It’s something I completely forgot since my parents died. Only Nana loved me since I lost them and with Tristan as my mate I lost the faith that in this world someone could love me, or ever want me.
He smiles at me and lifts his right arm, arranging the hair on my face, placing it behind my ear, as if he tries to see my face fully.
