My father crossed another line yesterday. He was hitting Liam way too much even though anyone with a basic set of common sense would see... Liam is beyond exhausted.
The Beta responsibilities are draining him because he has to manage everything about Evelyn too. Evelyn herself is in a mess that I did not witness anywhere in the werewolf world. So her responsibilities and Liam's together, it is draining every single bit of energy in him.
"Let me help you" I tell him as I take the documents he is holding as he walks. He is walking out of the palace and if my guess is right, towards the King's legal office.
"That's okay" he shrugs.
"No! Let me at least do this!" I whisper and try to forcefully take the documents from his hands.
