Tanisha opened the door for me, and I smiled at her, before walking inside. A part of me was expecting Ace to be there, in his bed, with a nonchalant expression on his face as he texted away on his phone. But an empty room greeted me, and I felt an uneasiness settle within my chest.
"Now you take proper rest, alright?" Tanisha instructed, leading me to my bed. I sat down, nodding at her. "If you need anything, I'm right down the cor-"
