"Maybe you can," I whispered without thinking.
"No," he shook his head, taking my arms and pushing me away to look me in the eye. His pupils were slightly dilated, his eyes seeming a little darker than usual. If I had not stared into them so much, I never would have noticed. Yet I knew his body enough to tell the slightest of difference. "I can't, I don't want you to regret it later on."
"Then don't make me," I replied, gulping. His gaze flickered to my lips, before he looked away.
"I won't, I wouldn't," he replied. "But I know it's too soon for you. You're just too..." he trailed off, before his lips curled into a victorious smirk, and he glanced at me. "You're just too turned on right now. You're not thinking straight."
