I buried my face in my pillow, letting out a groan as a tear escaped my eye. I sniffed, hugging it tighter, as my head pounded due to frustration.
"Um..." A confused voice said, making me groan again.
"Leave me alone," I muttered, sniffing.
"What happened?" Ace asked, and I felt the bed dip slightly. The next moment the pillow was ripped away from me, making me gasp. I covered my face with my hands, not wanting to face him. "Duckling, what's wrong?" He asked, his tone laced with concern.
"I don't know what to do," I replied, frowning. "I have an assignment due next week, and I don't even have a partner as yet." I glared at him, lowering my hands. "And guess who's responsible for that?"
He frowned, staring at me in disbelief. "What? You blame me?"
"Yes, I blame you!" I picked up
