"What do I do now?" I sighed, running my hand through my hair.
"Relax. We'll get you a new one," Ace reassured, sitting down beside me.
"I don't want a new one, Ace," I frowned, my voice breaking. "There were pictures in there. Some I had not got time to back up. I can't lose them." My heart was sinking in my chest as I said those words, and tears formed in my eyes.
"Hey," Ace said softly, taking my hand in his. "I'll find it. Okay? I promise."
I sniffed, glancing at him. "You will?"
"Yes."
"When?"
"As soon as I can. Don't worry now, alright?" He smiled. For some reason, he managed to reassure me, and the feeling of uneasiness and fear started to abate.
I nodded. "Okay."

"Are you going today?" I asked as he stood up.
