I slowly walked down the corridor, Adrian's words repeating in my mind over and over again. Could he be right? Was Ace playing me? Is all of this a part of one huge prank, to finally make me crumble and give in to him?
I felt my head spin.
A new fear was brewing in my heart now. The fear of getting it broken. Once again.
But could Ace do that? Did he have the power to break my heart?
No. I will not allow him that. I was not going to let him access those parts of me. Not him.
I stopped in front of the door, and took a deep breath. How could I face him with these thoughts in my mind? Before I could touch the knob, my gaze fell upon Tanisha's room. I frowned. What's Sapphire doing outside her door?
