LOGAN This meeting was dragging on for too long, and I have been sending daggers to the alpha, who had this meeting. I wanted to be with Riley. She hasn’t been feeling well lately, and I wanted to look after her. “Well, the meeting is now closed,” the alpha said, making me look up at him and quickly move out of my seat. I shook his hand and headed out the door. I didn’t get too far when I saw Riley standing with Brie at the entrance to the next conference room. Mark looked at me and smiled. “That has to be the longest meeting in history.” I growled. “I know. No one would agree on anything. There were some arguments, and if alpha Peter hadn’t shut up when he did, there could have been a fight too, but we’ve sorted everything out now.” I kept my eyes on Riley, who was looking back. M
