I know it will become a part of my duties one day, but I do not like these trials.
Everyone has gone back to their duties and I get to explore the Palace on my own. Well, not completely alone because my shadows are around and Majandra isn’t far behind me.
I have a family that loves me for who I am and doesn’t hold my deafness against me. They do everything they can to make life less complicated for me, but never assume I am helpless.
My day started with exploring the Guest wing of the Palace and I have already come across a few things I need to discuss with Mom. Yes, I call our Queen Mom because she didn’t accept anything else. To tell you the truth, she has been more of a Mom to me than my own ever was and I have only known her for a short time.
