We met up with the other girls in a library in the main building, where we were introduced to the full coven. I was astounded to see how many witches were actually living there. Most of the witches were older and the guide explained that most of them moved there after they lost their families.
One of the girls joked that the island was probably a retirement home for witches, and she was instantly silenced. I quickly figured out that the girl was a mean one and that kind of mean streak would not be allowed. It made me feel a little more at home.
The witches truly believed in doing no kind of harm to anything or anyone. The high priestess told us that there were black witches on the island, but that they kept to themselves. Only the white and gray witches lived in the compound.
