“Okay, then I want to suggest that I go with Noah.” It popped out of my mouth before I could help myself. “Just give me a chance.” I held my hands in the air to silence everyone who had something to say about it. “I know I was the one who insisted that I wanted to stay, but Noah is my mate. We accepted each other. I can’t see why we have to wait for the ceremony.” I felt as if I was making the first real grown-up decision of my life.
“With me there, it would be easier to find whoever doesn’t like me, won’t it?” I shrugged. I had been listening to everything everyone had said and, although I was still scared to death, I believed it was the right thing to do. It was time that I moved in with my mate and started my life.
