I frowned as I watched my brother and Noah talking alone for the second time. Was Noah asking my brother if he could move his pack? I hoped he wasn’t asking my brother to intervene on his behalf. I wasn’t moving to that pack until I was sure I would be safe.
I also wasn’t entirely sure how I would feel about Noah if he gave in so easily and wanted to move his pack. Frowning, I watched the two men talk and could have sworn I saw a smile on David’s face. I was dying to know what they were up to.
“Would you like to try dancing again?” Noah looked happy when he returned and I nodded. I was usually a pretty good dancer, but he did things to me that made me lose my focus. The night eventually drew to a close and I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I climbed into bed.
