I was finishing up with the stalls and looking for the food in the tiny utility closet in the barn when I heard a strange noise behind me. Quickly, I turned around, my claws unsheathed, and looked at who had appeared. “Oh, it’s you,” I said, my face changing back to its normal expression and my claws disappeared behind my nails.
Morgana had her arms crossed and her eyebrow raised as she watched me. “I see you have practically cleaned this place up.” I nodded my head and smiled.
“Yep, have you given Callie and Rose their first lesson yet?” I asked as I walked past Morgana, a sack of bird food, grains, and other kinds of wheat in my arms.
