HELENA I woke up a couple of hours later. The sun was still hidden on the horizon and I tried to be as careful as possible to detangle myself from Jake’s embrace. He was snoring softly, sleeping thoroughly. I could sit there and stare at him all day. But I had to check on Xander and Callie. Rose had told me to keep her informed of Callie’s state. She was worried, things were happening too fast now that we were back and if what Morgana had told us was true, Callie needed to be present to fight off the wizard or witch conjuring the dark magic. I quickly took a shower and got dressed before heading off for the day. I still felt tired, but the worry was keeping me awake and alert. The halls were quiet and empty, only a couple of lights were on, it was enough to light the way to the infirm
