SOMEONE KNOCKED on the hotel door, and since I'd been expecting housekeeping, I shut the television off and stood to answer it. I wasn't ready to go back to the shop. Plus it was still an active crime scene, but I planned to spend a little time in the dining room as they clean the room.
Except when I answered, housekeeping wasn't on the other side of the door. Katy pushed her way in and closed the door behind her, looking like she was sneaking in for a secret meeting.
