Chapter Twenty Eight: Equilibrium
The Waddington Residence. February 14th, 2014.
Alina had chatted away excitedly in the car on the way home from the charity meeting.
“I think the hospice project is the most urgent,” she said, checking her notes again. “It sounds like their building isn’t even water tight at the moment after those thieves stole the lead from the roof. I’ll call the director tomorrow and see if I can set up a meeting. It’s really just a matter of them getting the paperwork sorted out – I know we could get them the funding!”
Her monologue continued until they arrived home, and she quickly pulled off her shoes and tossed them on the floor.
