“OK…let me take control back, Alina. We need to head over to the North a bit before we lose too much altitude. Otherwise we’ll have a long walk back to the hangar!”
The final excitement was as they came in for the landing. All at once the ground seemed to rush up to meet them and Alina very nearly stumbled as her feet hit the ground. But luckily she kept her balance, and stayed on her feet.
Steve unclipped her from him, and she spun around to give him a big kiss.
“Thank you, Steve!” she told him. “That was just amazing!”
