Alana I don’t know how long I slept, but I was awakened by the sound of the water running in the bathroom sink. Despite feeling excessively groggy, I climbed out of bed and walked straight to the connected bathroom. Happy to see that it was just my cub washing his hands, I leaned against the door and released a sigh of relief. As I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, I heard little Jax say, “Sorry for waking you up, mumma.” Not wanting my precious son to feel bad, I rushed to close the gap between us, then I bent down and wrapped my arms around his little body from behind. After nuzzling my nose against his rosy cheek, I enthusiastically mumbled, “Sweetie, you can wake me up any time you want. In fact, to be honest, I’m glad you did.” “Me too,” he chirped with a smile
